About Our Founder and Director

A message from our founder:  Raven Tunnermann-Gyecsek 

 

  "I have always known that I wanted to pursue a career with kids or teaching. Making kids smile is the most warming and rewarding thing I have ever experienced, especially when it comes to making learning fun. 

At the young age of 13, still the age of a camper myself, I realized that owning a summer camp was exactly what I wanted to do!  My goal will always be to give kids summers filled with joy, adventure, laughter, and memories that they will remember for a lifetime.  Because that's what makes what I do so worth it; seeing a child smile from ear to ear and exclaim to their parents how much fun they had, knowing that those summer memories are ones they'll never forget."   

     Raven Rock, and it's staff, strives each year to create fun, unique programs, which have a positive impact on each child that attends, and leaves them wanting to return each summer for more fun, friendships, and lifelong memories.

Together with my incredible team we have been providing your children those summers filled with friendships, unforgettable fun, and adventures since the summer of 2018.
