Our Summer History & Nature Programs Run Full -Day From 9am-4pm. 

​

The daily Raven Rock Summer Programs schedule balances educational and fun activities with free time to enjoy with friends. Whether it’s learning something new or engaging in friendly competition, we offer something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Discounted 4-day session and NEW Programs are always the fastest ones to fill, and due to the activities we are limited to 40 children per-week.

Bursting with undiscovered adventures in a rustic and loving farm atmosphere, our 3 main programs will get your children to form their own conclusions about nature, and get them excited to learn and discover more.

From games, to team building, to exploring the stream/ brook, to hands-on interactive workshops, to the wild west at Readington Buffalo farm or even learning and interacting with the rescued animals on Grayrock Farm, there is always a new adventure around every corner. 

Our goal is to make your child's summers unforgettable with memories and friendships that last a lifetime. We make learning fun with unique programs at an incredible location! Together with our team we have been bringing your children those summers filled with friendships, unforgettable fun, living history, and adventures since the summer of 2018.

Experience Living History & Nature all in one program! As always, all your weekly favorite games, team building, water play, workshops and theme days will be waiting for you, in addition to some living history too! 

Ages 7-12

Love activities, problem solving, STEM, working with your hands, and learning new things?

Well, then our brand NEW workshop week is waiting for you! Assemble and help build projects & crafts, problem solve STEM activities, work as a team to accomplish tasks & games, and as always, all your weekly favorite games, team building, water play, and theme days will be waiting for you. 

Ages 7-12

Readington Buffalo Farm 
Wild West Week

Offering ONE exclusive week at Readington Buffalo farm just 15 minutes from our main location! Conveniently only a few minutes from rt. 31 and directly off rt. 523.

Want to experience a true wild west farm? Learn about Bison, and enjoy all the vast open spaces perfect for games and activities??

Come join us for one of the best experiences yet!

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

A typical day with us will vary depending on theme, and weather. Our specialty days and activities can be found in the next section. 

We are outdoors for most, if not all day enjoying nature and playing our favorite games and sports, as well as taking part in hands-on learning and team building. 

Examples of a typical day with us:

- 8:45am- Arrival!

- 8:45-9:15am- games and drop off

-9:15- mid morning- children's favorite program games/sports and/or animal husbandry 

-10:30/10:45am- snack time

-11:00am- 12pm- varies each day, examples include- hands on learning/educator, or team building sports/activities

- 12:15pm-1pm- lunch and free time to play and spend time with friends.

-1pm-3:30pm- varies each day, examples include- educator/hands on learning, animal husbandry, stream time, stream study, water games, capture the flag, crafts, etc. 

-3:30-3:45pm- pack up to leave and play games and trivia until parents arrive. 

-3:45-4:05pm- departure

  • Each week will have one dress - up theme day such as "Pirate Day," Wild west Cowboy Day," Christmas in July", "Candy Land Day", "Dress Like A Patriot", and others. These will be listed above in our weekly breakdown, as well as on our sign up/enrollment forms.

  • Each week on Thursdays we have build your own ice cream sundaes, in the afternoon. In the case of our discounted 4 day week, if Ice cream day falls on the 4th of July when we are closed, ice cream will be switched to another day that week.

  • Each week we have one day set aside for making your own tie dye (shirts are provided by Raven Rock).

  • Fridays (weather dependent) are typically water play day mixed up with several other fun activities throughout the day.  We do not have a pool, all water games are done on land or in the stream.

  • Nature weeks and History weeks will vary in terms of hands-on learning/team building subjects, theme days, and educators, but our fan favorite games, sports, water play, tie dye, and ice cream will remain the same.

  • A few of our hands-on learning activities throughout the course of the summer may include; Survival, animal tracking, black bear program, animal husbandry and grooming, real life revolutionary war militia man (who will recruit your children for the war to win our country),  science, STEM, first aid, environmental studies, survival studies, panning for gold and the gold rush, stream study, a program provided by the Clinton township K-9 unit, and many more!
